The biggest challenge when marketing any business is keeping the revenue pipeline filled with qualified prospects. Here are five tasks – one for every business day of the week to put at the TOP of your To Do List.
Day 1: Write down what products or services you offer that improves one or more of The “BIG FIVE” (health, wealth, time, career, relationship). EX: “I offer office organizing products and services to small business owners that want to grow their businesses.”
Day 2: Write a profile your ideal client: Who is it? Who has money to spend on the products and services you offer? Who would benefit FINANCIALLY if they were more organized? EX: “My ideal client is the small business owner that works out of a home office. Using my processes he/she is more efficient with their time and can spend more time making more money and lest time on finding things.”
Day 3: List the 5 Top Spots where your ideal clients shop. Get the name of each store manager or business owner and set up a time to meet with them in the next 5 to 7 business days.
Day 4: Decide what you want to accomplish at each meet-up. Ideas: co-host a special event; sponsor a drawing for a FREE organizing service (ex: a $150 Value); give a free talk that promotes your service and the business owners’ products; co-sponsor a Client Appreciation Day using both businesses client lists.
Day 5: Prepare for each meet-up and discover “What’s in it for THEM.” Ask, “If there was just one thing you could do to improve your business, what would it be?” Their answers will tell you where they need help and why YOU and what you do offer the perfect solution.
When you do this constantly – say at the beginning of the month…each month, watch your business grow. Let me know how this works for you and leave me a comment below.
