Want to take your Facebook posts to the next level? Do you want to do this so it doesn’t come off as “salesey” or that you’re bragging about your business? Do you want to stand out from your competition? Here’s an idea and it takes just two easy steps.
Step One: Honor your clients and their accomplishments. It’s not about telling your followers what a great business owner or service provider YOU are. (That can work, but not as well). Instead, post pictures of your clients’ progress, tag them in photos, and tell them how proud you are of what they’ve accomplished.
It’s not, “Look at the what I have done for MY client.” It’s, “Gail, I’m so proud of what you’ve accomplished.”
See the difference?
You’re not bragging about how awesome you are (even though we both know that you are). You’re giving Gail the credit she deserves – and publically making her the Star. And the best part is that you come off as the Super Star by acknowledging HER efforts.
Gail’s happy, her family’s happy because they’re proud of her progress that YOU instigated. And the conclusions that people come to about you and your business is that you get results. This is so much more powerful than tooting your own horn. After all, your business SHOULD be all about your clients, right?
Step 2: Get your clients posting stuff after EVERY coaching or service session you have with them. You can even have them do this on your computer when you’re there. How? By offering a Facebook Fringe-Benefit.
Let’s say the average price for a service you provide is $199. Raise your rates for new clients to $249 but offer them your Facebook Fringe Benefit where they can save $50 on your service – back down to your original $199. If you’re uncomfortable raising your rate, then offer a $50 discount in exchange for your clients’ help.
Then, with your help and at the beginning and end of each session, have them post something on Facebook. Have them post what they hope to get out of the session – and then have them post what they did, how it worked, even add before and after photos or testimonials on their progress. (If they want to tell the world what a fabulous experience they had with you – all the better).
Here it is again:
- Step 1: When you make your clients the Star in your Facebook posts – you become the Super Star to everyone reading your newsfeed.
- Step 2: For a $50 discount on your service, offer a Facebook Fringe-Benefit so clients share their personal experience with you before and after each session.
Both of these tactics help leverage your one-to-one service by getting client testimonials out to your market place. Cool huh?
I’d love to see how you implement this in your business so please tell me about it below.
